Earlier today, Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito held a press conference along with Top Rank in Beverly Hills to hype up and officially announced their Nov. 13 clash at Cowboys Stadium.

Bob Arum said he feels confident that the fight could bring in upwards of 70,000 fans to the stadium.

"We believe this will set the record for the modern times of attendance for a boxing event," proclaimed the Top Rank boss.

Arum also addressed the many critics of the fight who argue that Antonio Margarito has no business getting a major payday against Pacquiao, let alone be allowed in the ring again.

"It's bullshit! There wasn't one shred of evidence [that Margarito was aware of the illegal wraps] and at the hearing, members of the California State Athletic Commission that have since been fired, gave affidavits that observed him getting his hands wrapped; they were willing to testify that Margarito didn't know," he continued.

"I want to thank Bob Arum for making this fight a possibility. There isn't a lot to say; I'm happy and very motivated. It's a fight I've been wanting for a long time," added Margarito. He asked the press in attendance to put everything that has happened behind them. "It's in the past, and now we're in the present," argued the former welterweight belt-holder.

For his part, Manny Pacquiao was all smiles as usual, explaining in Spanish that it wasn't his intention to fight another Mexican, but "that's just how things work out."

"He's a very aggressive fighter, he's strong and bigger than me. All I can say is please watch and don't miss it, it's going to be a great fight on Nov. 13," said Pacquiao.

It was also confirmed by a representative of the WBC that the organization will in fact sanction this fight for the vacant 154-pound title - a title Sergio Martinez relinquished in order to retain his middleweight version.

Tickets for the fight will go on sale on Sept. 18 and will range from $50 to $700.
