LORD Voldemort, if he ever were a real chap, would probably find a kindred spirit in Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Voldemort’s lust for power led him to disregard everything else.

Mayweather’s desire to prove he’s the baddest man in the ring led him to disregard just about anything else, including the chance to prove he’s the best fighter in boxing.

Voldemort, like Mayweather, wants everybody to fear him. Unwilling to face The One in battle, he, for years, let his minions do the fighting for him.

Mayweather, unwilling to face The One in the ring, is bringing the fight to every conceivable arena—the papers, YouTube and every interview he’s got.

The two are so much alike that Voldemort will probably make Mayweather his No. 1
follower, while Lil Floyd will thank Voldy for being the Mayweather No. 1 follower.

Voldy got so obsessed with “one cannot live while the other survives” it eventually killed him.

Floydy is so obsessed with “one man who could beat him” it’s going to eventually kill his legacy.

For Voldy, anyone who can’t do magic doesn’t deserve to live, just like Floydy thinks that anyone who isn’t a Mayweather doesn’t deserve to be No. 1 in the boxing world.

I really don’t know what Floyd was thinking—or if he was even thinking—when he launched his latest racist attacks against Manny.

Though he has apologized, that is according to one website, the damage has been done.
Kevin Iole, of Yahoo! Sports, said the Mayweather legacy won’t be his titles or unbeaten record, and he only has himself to blame.

Mayweather, according to Iole, will be remembered for being a sad, misguided and out-of-control homophobic bigot.

I mean, come on.

Name at least three fighters Mayweather has faced.

Now, name at least three things Mayweather has said against Manny these past few years.

I have no doubt that Manny and Floyd Mayweather Jr. (you can throw in Sr. too) will face each other in the ring.

It’s a match that’s just too big to be ignored.

All of these things simply fan the flame for the match.

But before they do get to meet each other in the ring, I hope Manny will do a Floyd and demand Mayweather Jr. pass a test.

A psychological test.

What if Floyd will do a Mike Tyson?

We don’t want any of that, do we?

Iron Mike (and sorry for dragging him into this mess because he’s now a reformed man) did the unthinkable because he was losing a fight he thought he would never lose.

Floyd losing to Manny—something that is impossible for Mayweather—isn’t impossible.
What if…?

Like I said. Floyd did it to himself.

So Manny, add a psych test to the contract, please?

By the way, I think there’s something positive that will come out of the Mayweather tirades.

I mean these past few days haven’t really been good for Pinoys. And unity, for us, is as alien a concept as decency is for Floyd.

Floyd has just given Pinoys, those who’ve been at each other’s throats the past few days, a talking point they agree on.
