There is a huge double standard here that needs to be addressed and dealt with. White folks back in the day did enough damage to create racial divide, so the last thing we need now is for Floyd Mayweather Jr to drop racial bombs on Asian folks. What would happen to Manny Pacquiao if he went on the record somewhere and started dropping F bombs, and called Floyd the "N" word? I truly believe that if Manny did do that, his sponsors would drop him like a bad habit. So in enters idea number one.

1 - There should be pressure put forth on all of Floyd Mayweather's sponsors to hold him accountable.

Floyd likes to rub his money and fame in the faces of those who do not have money and fame. He should be hit where it hurts him the most, in his pockets. The sponsors that have attached their products to Floyd Mayweather Jr should take notice that their guy Floyd likes to belittle people, one being Manny Pacquiao. Floyd also insulted every Filipino that heard or read what he said about their culture. I will not repeat in this article what the man said, because just like Manny Pacquiao told me yesterday, it was "uneducated."

HBO needs to take notice of Floyd's latest racial attack as well. In comes idea number two.

2- Sooner or later Floyd is going to want to fight again. HBO should hold Floyd responsible for his actions by NOT showing anymore of his fights. An apology to Manny Pacquiao and to the entire nation of the Philippines is in order before HBO should show one more Floyd Mayweather Jr fight.

Pacquiao has taken some heat from a few boxing scribes out there (who typically bash him anyway) about taking the Margarito fight. I have publicly defended Pacquiao on this topic because the sport is a business, and because Margarito was granted a license to fight. In this case with Mayweather I think it would be a mistake for Pacquiao to fight Floyd without a public apology to him and to his country first

Margarito cheated, and he completed his punishment and now can fight again. Mayweather has not yet been sentenced, and the only way to sentence him is to hit him where it hurts, and that is right in his pockets.

I hit up a few sports bars last night and asked some of the boxing fans in Jackson, MS what their thoughts were on Floyd's latest blast. Donnie Ford of Jackson, MS was not pleased at all with Floyd's racial comments, "I am a black man living in America who grew up having to deal with being called a "N" almost every day. Black people are sick of it and for Floyd Mayweather to do the same thing that white folks been doing to black people is just a shame. This dude needs to man up and apologize to Pacquiao in a hurry."

I spoke to a big Floyd Mayweather fan about the issue as well. Jason Miller of Canton, MS is less likely to follow Floyd's career now, "I used to be a Floyd Mayweather fan. There is no denying how good he is as a boxer, but the rest of him needs some work. What an idiot this guy is to say something so stupid, and arrogant. I think he should be banned from the sport for awhile. Boxing doesn't need a known racist as one of it's most popular individuals."

There is no room in this world for racist individuals. Floyd's accomplishments inside of the ring merit some respect, but he as a person merits no respect. Respect is earned, and no matter how big your bank account is, you can't buy it. Respect can't just be deposited in your bank account, you have to work for it. I suggest that Mayweather start working for his asap, and his first task is to apologize.
