Golden Boy Promotions' president Oscar De La Hoya once lost a decision to unbeaten Floyd Mayweather, who has been in the news lately for an arrest for alleged domestic violence, a racially-charged rant against WBO welterweight (147 pounds) king Manny Pacquiao, and an apology to Pacquiao.

FanHouse caught up to De La Hoya for his opinion about Maywether on Tuesday in Los Angeles, where De La Hoya was promoting Saturday night's HBO pay per view televised junior middleweight (154 pounds) clash between Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora.
