DALLAS, TX - There is an old saying that Floyd Mayweather should have taken to heart sometime last night. "If you are in a hole, stop digging," is how it goes.
Mayweather got bailed out of jail later in the morning and still has to answer to serious charges. What else does he feel he has to prove? Doesn't he care that he has embarrassed himself to everyone, especially corporate America?
You know corporate America. The people he likes to rub his wealth in its face.
What about young black men? What do they think of him now.
I don't know who he listens to but it may be too late anyway even if these latest charges are recanted.
Jose Harris is the mother of his three children. She lives in a house he owns which is probably why he had a key to get in last night. She has taken him to court once before but changed her plea under stress back in 2005.
Known as Floyd's "Baby Momma," you have to think she has partly cashed in on a winning lottery ticket which if Floyd Mayweather, Jr.
Holyfield and Tyson are others and more than you would care to know from the National Basketball Association.
I don't know if I'm angry at Mayweather or jealous to seemingly have more dollars than sense.
Let me catch myself here. I'm not jealous or envious of him. He obviously is a winning lottery ticket with the ability to cash it in several more times but his recent actions tell me he's going to lose that ticket before to long.
